Carlingwood Mall ( www.carlingwood.com ) has been in existance since the 1960's. It has gone through major renovation and expansion and now boasts over 100 stores. This mall is frequented by a broad spectrum of people from students, and young families to retirees. Carlingwood Mall offers a walking program before opening each day, and you can experience jogging through the mall's 2 km of corridors, rather than jogging outdoors in the heat and cold. Temperature controlled and well lite, this is a very comfortable mall, with plenty of overstuffed couches for resting and people watching. It caters to a number of retirement communities close by and is very accessible via wheel chair.
